mailing list as you read this. (Good news on that front: there's an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every message, if regular exposure to my epistolary hijinks isn't doing it for you.) I now get regular emails from an online copywriting expert named Tarzan. I'm not sure how – I've never taken a copywriting course in my life, and I'm sure it shows. But I keep reading what she sends, even when it dances on the border of what the kids call To Much Information. She is a good writer.

As I wrote yesterday, registration is now open for this Saturday's live online workshop, Blues Up The Neck! 2.0. If you've got questions, I'll have an FAQ out soon, but for now, I thought I'd provide a YouTube video teaching a bit of what I'll be covering this weekend. Show, don't tell, is the wordsmith's mantra, and while I may not have studied writing with Tarzan, I learned that much in Mr. Mechem's 11th grade AP English class (B+ for the year – I'm good, but I'm not that good). You can find the YouTube lesson at the link below:

I also explain more about the workshop at the link below. If you scroll down, you'll find a video there too, along with details about what I'll be covering, and why:
