Answers To Your Questions About Tomorrow's Workshop

online workshop is happening tomorrow, Saturday June 24th at 10:30am CDT. I have taught this particular workshop once before, and this general topic many, many times, and it remains one of my favorite things to teach, because it's really not a jazz class. It's a class for blues musicians who want to expand their pentatonic vocabulary with cool-sounding swing and bebop licks, and apply them to the twelve-bar form. While the material in this workshop could ultimately help you get started with jazz, that's really not the point. The point is to learn just enough about jazz to bring some new licks and colors into your blues playing. Period. So that's what we're going to do.
