With only three notes at a time
You can descend, or you can climb
The fretboard, voicing harmonies
With sixths or sevenths, as you please
Inversions too, which is a word
That means you have the fifth, or third
Played in the bass, and not the root
Which now might disappear, or scoot
Up to the fourth or third string,
where
You should still have a digit spare
With which to grab the proper pitch
Before the moment comes to ditch
The current chord, and move on to
The next one, and another few
In turn, and so on til you come
Back to the point you started from
To learn about the way it's done
Ask questions, and perhaps have fun
Along the way, go sign up now
To take the workshop, and
learn how
To add the Freddie Green chords to
Your playing, whether jazzed or blue
Freddie Green Chords: Blues & Rhythm Changes
More soon,
David
P.S. If you will not be free
Tomorrow for this class with
me
You can still sign up anyway
And watch the on-demand replay
Which you can access, watch and hear
At your convenience, for a year
