For starters: I'll be back at Rocky Mountain Guitar Camp this July, along with my pals John Knowles, Pat Bergeson, Richard Smith, Jim Nichols and Brooks Robertson. With only around 30 students per session, and almost totally focused on fingerstyle guitar, this may be the most fun guitar camp I've ever been part of.

One of the most frequent questions I get is about arranging standards for fingerstyle guitar. So my next online workshop, on Saturday, July 16th, will be about how to play and improvise on "Indiana."

I first taught this workshop back in 2021, and it covers both simple and advanced versions of the tune itself, a breakdown of how to think about soloing on a 32-bar tune, and tab to two complete solos illustrating all of those ideas in action.

Finally, next Saturday, July 5th, I'll be live streaming my workshop on "Three Rules For Playing Better Fingerstyle Blues." This one is free, but you do have to sign up in advance.

Registration for both the "Indiana" workshop and the "Three Rules" workshop will be available next week.
